This week at our Summer Coding Camp, our kids brought down the HEAT!!! From creating amazing animation stories using SCRATCH, to trying their hands on games and bringing numerous expressions of creativity to life, using algorithms, variables and conditioning statements…
In the second week of our Summer Coding Camp, our kids bid ‘Scratch’ welcome… As we progressed in the knowledge gained from applying precise instructions to coding and building algorithms, we learnt to create stripes, motion, controls and more.
Week one at the Mainland Summer Coding Camp was all shades of fun! Our TechQuest Camp tutors came with lots of spice, as we kicked off the classes with a basic knowledge of algorithms and creating precise instructions in programming. Our dogged kids pressed on to hitting the mark and solving the numerous tasks…
Coding is the art of telling a computer how to perform complex tasks. Once you know how to code, you can create virtual worlds within the computer where the only limit on what is possible is your imagination.

Nigerian fiction writer, Ojay Aito, announces the launch of his debut novel ‘Night Of A Red Moon’ for the 18th of June, 2017. The novel, a historical thriller set in Ago-Iwoye, a little town on the edge of Ogun state, Nigeria, focuses on the socio-political drama that ensued between the indigenes and the students of the town’s premier tertiary institution – Olabisi Onabanjo University exactly twelve (12) years ago.
