Aimee’s Library Launches New Edu-Lounge

In commemoration of the 2020 World Book Day, Aimee’s Library & Recreational Centre celebrated in style at the opening of a new Edu-Lounge located at Shangisha, Magodo, Lagos.

Veteran, Alibaba and many others celebrated this feat as parents, children and well wishers convened for a tour of the lounge set to host book clubs, private tutoring, Diction & STEAM Hubs, among other activities for children aged 5 and above with a modern library, game hub, learning & reading lounge as well as a studio for public speaking and creative writing activities to be groomed.

According to the Creative Director, Amy Afebuame,

“Aimee’s Library Recreational Centre provides educational and recreational resources for children. We are on a mission to create a hospitable physical and virtual environment for all-inclusive learning, research and recreation. Our vision is to become Africa’s most Influential, Innovative and Creative Educational Resource and Recreational Centre. Over the years, we have strived to make impact, grooming kids of diverse learning backgrounds, building their creative and cognitive skills.”

Also in attendance were Humanitarian, Dr. Yolanda N. George-David and Dr. Olushola Obikanye who led all to a grand opening.

Aimee’s Library & Recreational Center are hosts of an Annual Spelling Bee and Board Games Competition for children not older than 13. This comes up in september 2020.
