WATCH: Highlights From Aimee’s 2019 Spelling Bee & Board Games Competition | #SBBGHangout

On Friday, 23rd August 2019, Aimee’s Library & Recreational Centre hosted the second edition of her Spelling Bee & Board Games Hangout.

This annual event provides a platform that encourages children to demonstrate their interest and aptitude for language and learning. It also creates an opportunity for them to expand their knowledge base, build self-esteem whilst honing their creative and cognitive skills.

Aimee’s Library & Recreational Centre invites all kids aged 7 – 13 or Grades 3 – 9 to participate in the upcoming Spelling Bee & Board Games Hangout.

The event themed “The Making of the Star” is set to celebrate the stardom of every child, whilst enabling them to hone their creativity and improve their cognitive skills.

#MyWritingCorner: ‘CCP Lisa’ by Elizabeth Ogungbefun

I am Lisa Anderson. In case you don’t know, I am 14 years old and I attend South Hampton High.
Other school students make fun of the acronym – SHH but our Principal says it is ’cause they haven’t seen a school with the acronym “BUTT”. Of course, when we asked for the full name of that school, he said, “you don’t need to know nothing!”
I still think there’s more to the that than he is telling… LOL
